Vera Koontz ‘29 is a first-year from Queens, NY. Her concentration is currently undeclared; she is exploring Africana Studies, English, Sociology, and Art History. Across these disciplines she is particularly interested in postcolonial studies and the Caribbean. She also serves as an Archivist for the Black Star Journal. She enjoys reading and creating in her free time.
