The Center for Middle East Studies is seeking an Administrative Coordinator to work closely with CMES, the Department of Egyptology and Assyriology and the Center for Global Antiquity. This position works closely with language faculty and CMES associate director to provide operational, logistical and personnel support to the Persian and Arabic language program within CMES. 

The Center for Middle East Studies at Brown University is seeking applications for a full-time Arabic language instructor at all levels for the Spring 2027 semester. Responsibilities will include teaching three Arabic language classes. This is a one-semester Visiting Lecturer appointment with the possibility of renewal for an additional semester contingent on programmatic need, performance and the availability of funds.
